This week our sales manager met up with Kelly at Boho Weddings and Events. Kelly is the founder of Boho Weddings and Events and as such is very passionate about weddings! The weekend of the 9 and 10 October 2010 saw the start of our open weekends. The event was very well attended with customers both past and present coming along for a drink and a chat. The event was designed to give a real insight into the flexibility of marquee layouts and the vast list of options from which to choose from. One of our 9m x 15m marquees was on show and this featured a 3m x 3m china hat entrance marquee, our unique max clear windows and our LED star cloth roof lining. Your Marquee were delighted to be picked to provide the showcase marquee for 32 food companies both large and small. The team constructed two 9m x 30m wide marquees to fit in the 32 trade stands and other features such as a unique coffee shop. Power was supplied to all 32 trade stands, enabling cookery demonstrations to take place and AV equipment to be utilised to the max.
The marquees featured max clear walls and max clear gables to allow uninterrupted views into the marquees and also natural light to enter the marquee.
As well as setting up the marquee, the team provided 24 hour site attendance to ensure the two day event ran smoothly.

The team at Your Marquee Ltd are holding an open weekend on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October 2010 in York. Your Marquee Ltd are delighted to have been appointed to provide the winter wonderland marquee for Stockeld Park, Wetherby. Our marquee will be up throughout the festive period at this fantastic winter venue designed for the whole family.
Stockeld Park is a country estate near Wetherby, in Yorkshire. The house remains a family home and is open to historical groups by appointment only. The estate opens to the public from October half term onwards for Halloween and family fun including skating, skiing and other winter activities. Stockeld is also Yorkshire's finest Christmas tree grower and hosts the hugely popular Christmas Adventure.

The Botanical Gardens are steeped in history and they have been an events location since their grand opening in 1836. The gardens have also recently been restored at a cost of over £6 million and boast some fantastic Victorian buildings and landscaped gardens. What size marquee do I require? This question is something the guys at Your Marquee frequently get asked. It’s to be expected, Your Marquee Ltd are experts at marquee events and as such they have experience of just what size marquee creates the perfect cosiness! It’s the balance between too tight, or too much space that you don’t know what to do with!
There are some basic rules however....
Thinking about a dance floor? Great, but remember that typically this will take up one bay of the marquee.
Tables and Chairs? The basic rule is that per bay of 9m wide marquee you can get three 5ft round tables (each seating approx 10 guests), so 30 guests per 9m x 3m bay.
Thinking of having a catering marquee? Again, this is not a problem – this can be inside the main marquee with an ivory curtain divide so that it is completely hidden (this will take up approximately one bay of the marquee) or alternatively this can be in a totally separate marquee.
Fancy a Lounge area? Your Marquee can offer a range of event furniture and luxurious linings which can create a secluded relaxation area in your marquee. Typically this will take up one bay of the marquee.
