Feb 15, 2012Yorkshire's Finest Wedding Fair at Newburgh Priory on 24th and 25th March 2012Its just over one month until we welcome all our customers to A Wedding For All Seasons Wedding Fair at Newburgh Priory. This event will take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th March 2012 and Your Marquee Ltd are the main sponsor. We will be providing three wedding specification marquees for this fair and this means it will be a fantastic opportunity to see the quality of our marquees. The marquees on display are also of wedding marquee size and as such it will good a good opportunity to think about layout and see the space available to you when picking a marquee for your wedding reception.
The wedding fair features approx 70 other exhibitors, a design quarter, a beauty school as well as catwalk shows. There will also be entertainment and adventure zones too. All this in the surroundings of the gorgeous stately home that is Newburgh Priory.
Tickets are usually £5.00 each for this event, however we have a supply of free tickets to hand out if you contact us regarding a wedding marquee quote before the fair.

In whatever light our marquees look stunning and definitely give your guests that WOW factor. Finished in bright white our marquees light up brilliantly and make the most of your lighting options.

We were delighted with the turnout at The Wedding Affair at Scampston Hall last Sunday. Despite being a foggy wintery day, lots of brides attended the fair and saw what we and some other fabulous Yorkshire wedding suppliers had to offer.
A big thank you goes out to Scampston Hall and The Wedding Affair for organising such a fantastic day.
Scampston Hall is a fantastic marquee venue just east of York, near Malton and in between Scarborough and York. It’s still a family house so has lots of authentic charm and it also has a perfect marquee site which is ideal for anything from a small marquee for close friends and family to a large lavish marquee for those people with an ever growing guest list!

Last Thursday saw the team at Your Marquee Ltd attend the prestigious York Press Business Awards 2011 held at The York Racecourse. The evening was fun and light hearted and saw Henry Richardson of Your Marquee being awarded runner up in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category. Henry was nominated after starting Your Marquee Ltd and growing it into a specialist wedding marquee hire company.
The award, although being a solo one, is really a testament to the work ethic of the construction team here and the pride they take in their work. This, together with our quality marquees, has led to our rapid growth in size and reputation as being a specialist wedding marquee provider in York.
On display will be one of our 9m x 30m wedding specification marquees together with ivory linings throughout, L.E.D starcloth roof lining, Max Clear windows, Georgian window walls and a 6m x 6m china hat entrance marquee.
It will be a great opportunity to see one of our high quality wedding marquees in a gorgeous setting. Scampston Hall is an amazing wedding ceremony and reception venue near Malton just North East of York. We love this photo of one of our wedding marquees at Newburgh Priory this summer and we hope you do too. This picture was taken by the brilliant Joe Dodsworth of Joe Dodsworth Photography in York and shows one of the amazing marquee sites at Newburgh Priory.
This picture features one of our 9m x 27m wedding marquees with a mix of max clear windows and Georgian windows throughout but with a max clear end to the marquee. During the day this made the most of the summer sunshine and at night it looked fantastic with the spotlights we placed all round the marquee. Like all our jobs, the max clear windows were provided at no extra charge and in a setting such as this, where there are visual delights are all round, they really make the most of it! Along the sides of this marquee we placed Georgian window walls to allow light to spill out of the marquee at night but also to add a more traditional feel to the bride and grooms special day.

We have already had some great feedback on our 2011 wedding marquees and were looking forward to some busy summer months travelling round Yorkshire making couples wishes come true!

Newburgh Priory is a fantastic venue just North of York and The Wedding Affair brought a good number of brides through the doors to view all 41 suppliers exhibiting and to view our marquees. Even sunny weather was planned!
As the picture shows we had one of our 9m x 42m marquees on display together with two 6m x 6m china hats. Our marquees stood up to the downforce given off by two helicopters which were also advertising their wedding transport services on the day!
The sunny weather meant that the quasi-outdoor seating areas created by the china hats were utilised throughout the day as Pimms sipping and canapé tasting tents!
We’re looking forward to the next Wedding Affair at Newburgh Priory which has already been planned for the 25th March 2012!
